Who is a Celebrity 
Many people have been asking who is a celebrity. What are the requirements of being a celebrity . Many simply say that a celebrity is a person who is being followed by many people, a person who has many likes and views in social media platform. Talking of social media platform I simply mean Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram (IG), TikTok, YouTube and others.
Yes, a celebrity is a person who is widely recognized by the public because of their achievements , prominence and influence in some fields for example, entertainment, sports, politics and media. 
Anybody can be a celebrity and in order for a person to be a celebrity there are some of the requirements you must have such as an exception talent , consistency, public recognition, charisma that is being charming and inspirational, scandal that is acquiring fame through an event which grabbed attention of many people though this is optional, digital presence and many more.

Here are some of the notable celebrities in Kenya for example, Willy Paul, Eliud Kipchoge, Njugush, Betty Kyallo, Victoria Kimani, King Kaka, Sauti Sol, Nyashinski and many more. When you look at this people you could see there dedication , public angagement, skills, consistency and their charisma in which they have built there career .

There were ceremonies performed in Kisii which were the rite of passage and all of them marked an important part. Maize Flour Prices Steadily Hiking  The cost of maize flour in Kisii has continued to rise despite the government’s assurance that they will release maize to millers to help stabilize the prices. A spot check by KNA in different stores and supermarkets across Kisii town revealed that the price of a two-kilogram packet of maize flour was retailing at an average of Sh. 165 to Sh. 200, up from Sh. 100 to Sh. 150 between January and mid-April this year. For instance, at Quick Mart supermarket, a two-kilogram packet of Hostess maize flour is retailing at Sh. 184 while that of Amara is being sold at Sh. 187. At the neighbouring Naivas supermarket, a two-kilogram packet of Hostess maize flour is retailing at Sh. 190, Ajab at Sh. 165, and Raha at Sh. 209.
